“Dad this is for you”

My heart beats like a string

Playing tunes with a wing

Love plays around

When silence makes sound

You taught me hard

Often singing a bard

Life was never beautiful

Drifting around playful

Thank you Dad , for everything

I can never be more grateful”

Tears rolled down the face of a proud dad hearing his son’s first song.

  1. Dear Nadig, What a wonderful poem and song for your father – the love just pours off it. Lucky father and lucky son! You are such a talented, emotional writer which is such a plus! Thanks! Nan 🙂

  2. This is lovely, very soft like gentle guitar music.

I’m getting in touch because you have previously posted on Trifecta. Thomas Marlowe and me are missing Trifecta and are trying to set up something that is similar, Light and Shade Challenge http://lightandshadechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/. It would be great if you felt able to come over, have a look and perhaps post. If you have any questions, please get it touch. It would be great to see you. LM x
