Out of the dark corners of my otherwise strong heart ,

pain creeps in with the smallest of acts.

While patience eludes me most of the times ,

i but cannot imagine my calm.

I have never been able to abdicate anger ,

he follows me all around.

Understanding is still a virtue being mastered ,

though it disappears when needed most.

Love is a silent drug ,

and she is my strength.

Moon : Five Sentence Fiction

“Do you see it ? The beautiful round white ball up there ?” asked Shaila pointing towards the sky.

“Yes mommy , it’s beautiful , why is it so far away from us , i wish i would go up there someday.”

“You will Son , it’s called the Moon , my mother used to tell me that there’s an angel there watching over us when darkness engulfs and to guide us when we lose our hopes.”

” I wish i knew Grandma , mom would you please describe it beautifully?”

“Well i can try , Silver laden ball , blurry grey eyes watching over us all , up the sky to hopes so high , giving light like a lantern fly.”

I try to look past the vagaries in life.

Breathing past the difficulties gives me a semblance of hope and a feeling of being renewed.

Yet i forget to stop , to introspect until life bring it’s difficulties.

The silver linings of my hope shattered , i strive to rise up , brightened.

But the wake up call isn’t so bitter as its counterpart ,the moments of anguish, confusion and pain.

Going through a tough phase i didn’t know what to make of this. I knew i had get some positive energy to get up and face things again and so here i am speaking to myself ( do forgive me 😛 )

If only she knew how much she had hurt me.

I looked down , at the thousand pieces of broken emotions.
