A Heavy heart

Darkness pops up in the bizarre of times , unexpected.

A heavy heart dwindles upon the news , shattered.

Memories flash , lessons learnt , friendship forged.

Poised assurance looms , abandoned.

Come back , magnified.

Love ,

4:00 am

He sits in the far corner , ignored and hurt. It has been days since his friend had talked to him and for that he feels a little lonely.

There is no spark in his rather dull life until ….

….He can never forget this night. He knows it will forever be etched in his memory.

3:32 am

For days he wanted to find the meaning of life, of hope. And now he has glimpsed it. When he looked towards the window hoping for some sign that tells him that his life has got a meaning he sees one right opposite on the room.

As if by magic……..

…………there appears a violet light that glows bright enough to illuminate the room and his heart. He is transported to a different world where he meets fairies and angels and…

3:57 am

Darkness engulfs him. He knows it was real, he can still feel it.

5:45 am

Violet light again illuminates the room but this time a lot dimmer than before. It dims his hope and vanishes with his.

8:07 am

His friend and master wakes up.

He hears some blabber about “battery fail” of the special bulb ” Violent blues”. It doesn’t make sense to him.

After all he’s just a common teddybear. 😛

“Why do you need a symbol such as this, a lion which represents ferociousness, majestic beauty, merciless power and magnificence to guard the gate of Miltaius the Peaceland ?”  asked the young man looking at the statue.

I could sense a profound sense of awe in him.

His admiration continued when suddenly he stopped and looked at me. “Why do you need violence to establish peace?” he asked.

I smiled , for i had been asked the same question many times before.

“Son , you cannot establish peace without being able to protect yourself. Being in peace doesn’t mean you cannot fight.”

“How do you know that?” he asked.

“Because i an Angel of peace created Silatus the majestic lion to protect us all.”

Daily Prompt: A Bird, a Plane, You!

You get to choose one superpower. Pick one of these, and explain your choice:

  • the ability to speak and understand any language
  • the ability to travel through time
  • the ability to make any two people agree with each other

Photographers, artists, poets: show us POWER.

This is a bit tricky so i decided to be even more trickier 😛

Well i would choose the ability to make any two people agree with each other

but since these two people  would be from a previous era i would most certainly need the ability to travel through time

and yes! you have guessed the next one right , how else can i understand what they speak to each or how should i make them agree with each other if i didn’t know their language , well i would want the ability to speak and understand any language too  😛

We always find a way to want it all 😀

Dabbling with my companion of love

I lie there

A replenished young lover

Caught in the mysteries of a path called life

I find my way back to her, always

And that sets us apart.

Seeing her again over the horizon

I forsake all doubts, all shadows.

I run, run till i am close

I am lost again seeing her smile

A lone remainder of trust found

And love renewed.

I hug her,

The embrace exchanges our strength

We walk back into life, hand-in-hand.

The Moment

Trifecta says ” And now on to a completely different type of prompt. As you may or may not know, November 15 is National Erotica Day.  Trifecta is not an erotica-specific type of place, but we never shy away from a chance to stretch our creative limbs, and we hope you’ll join us as we dive in to celebrate this quirky day.”

I have never tried an erotic writing so decided to take up the challenge. Here i go!

She lay there , my heart, my love. Tired from an entire day’s work. We weren’t exactly the made-for-each other type but i loved her truly. That beautiful face and the angelic smile had captured my heart the moment i had set my eyes on her. It was a year since we were in a live-in relationship and i gotten to love her even more.

As she was drifting off to slumber something about her excited me then. Maybe it was the way her body lay there or the way her lovely hips invited me. I knew she was tired but i wanted her then and there. I slowly made my way beside her all the while studying that face whose every  feature i knew. I kissed her on the forehead the way she loved. A long kiss just enough to notice me. I let my hand crawl down her back, slowly. Pressing her spine soft enough to remove the pain and induce pleasure. I came back to her neck planting soft kisses all over. She moaned softly.

“I am tired, sweetheart” was the soft reply.

“I know” i breathed as i made my tongue dance around face.

“You are cold, move away” she teased me.

“See who’s turning hot”. I made my way to the feet massaging it in circles and giving her small cuddles of joy around the thighs.

“Aww” .

“I love you” i whispered as i made my way to her lips.

“I know, i know, i love you too” she breathed as she gave her first kiss on my chest. I always loved when she did that.

Urgency drove us, pleasure a creature untamed. I locked my lips with hers. Exchanging breath , exchanging ripples of joy all over the body. We played with our tongue, teasing each other. Searching each other souls for our own.  And suddenly at that moment i knew, i knew it was her.

I stopped.

“You alright ?” i heard her concerned voice.

I came back to this universe , a changed man, a changed soul. Kneeling down i whispered in the the truest, loveliest  voice i would conjure.

” Will you marry me?”

“Yessssss!!!” was the beaming instant reply.

I jumped to the bed lifting her,  breathing “Thank you” as we once again began our teasing. I told you pleasure was an untamed creature but so is love.

The Encounter

The night was dark and the fear that surrounded him was darker still. It was his first night outside his home. He couldn’t see properly but his tribe was given the blessing of having exceptionally sharp smell. With the confidence of a blooming adult and the innocence of a child he had decided he would venture out alone into the night. He was warned about the creatures that roamed the night yet fear was an emotion he hadn’t encountered until now. It formed a burning thirst up his throat and his adrenaline was high. Could he make it?

Just when he was near to his home he was struck with a strange sense of being seen. Was he being followed? He tried to focus and suddenly it moved. The creature must have been really big.  Panic struck his heart, he did something so foolish that it stayed him with for days to come.

“Boo”, he whispered slowly. It was still moving. Will he be killed? Oh god!

“BOOOOO!!!” he shouted. A dreadful stillness ensured. It had stopped moving.

“Leave me! Go Away! ” he shouted. The stillness was then broken with dreadful movement. “This is it” he thought. With a stoic silence he became ready to accept anything. The silence that followed next was more terrifying than any in his entire life. He wasn’t even sure if he was alive. It took all the little bravery he had found to open his tiny eyes. Wow!! He was alive.

He ran faster than ever before. He was home.

“Mama, I was nearly killed by a strange creature” said he with tears in his eyes.

She consoled him with the tenderness that was so inherent in her. “What happened, dear?” she enquired with a queer curiosity . And as he explained she gave him a large smile.

“That dear, is a cockroach. We eat it after its dead” she explained.

Eat? He wondered.  “Strange are the ways of nature” thought the little ant.
